SPEAR metal separators filter out every piece of metal, right down to the smallest shaving, with extremely reliable results.

The metal separator is mounted immediately in front of the material in-feed and its highly sensitive sensor responds to every piece of metal - whether it is steel, brass or aluminium - and ejects it very rapidly. It is thus impossible for metals to enter the screw via this route and cause a loss of production.

Thanks to a special ejection technique, large or long parts can also be removed without any problems as well as small parts up to 1mm in diameter.
